phpWordPress 3.2 contains new features and enhancements developed in the last two months. A number of bugs have been fixed, and a whole set of usabilty improvements have been made thanks to the valuable feedback from our customers.
Some of them are:
- Tabbed Article Management
- Now it’s even easier to take full control over the articles. You can easily add/edit an article and its options, add Search Engine options, display options (comments, ratings, etc.), and much more with only few clicks.
- Membership-based Access
- With Membership access, the website content (or specific sections of the site) will be available only to the registered members. You can easily control the section(s) you wish to have open to public opposite to private areas for registered members only.
- In-place editing for Preferences
- All the changes made to the website are applied instantly and on the fly.
There is no more need to submit, and reload to apply the changes.
- Improved Search
- With the new, advanced search it is much easier to refine the search criteria. You can finally take advantage of searching the site with more control over search parameters.
- New Plug-in Manager
- Plug-in Manager has been fully revamped, allowing easy and hassle-free integration of 3rd party scripts, along with the centralized dump manager for all notification/error/warning messages.
- ContactBuilder Plug-in
- You can create fully customized “Contact Us” pages within seconds. The wizard guides you through the creating fields and layout of your website’s contact page.
